Province Pastoral Plan 2004-2007
Salesian Family

Preamble: The Salesian Family is the fruit of Don Bosco’s charismatic creativity as Founder of apostolic institutes and Teacher of Holiness. Various groups of the Salesian Family have been active in California for over a century, and in 2004 Salesian groupings in California and Texas, in addition to the SDB, FMA and COOPERATORS, include: Don Bosco Volunteers (VDB), Don Bosco’s Past Pupils, Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Caritas Sisters of Miyazaki (CSM), Association of Salesian Women (ADS) and the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA). We Salesians of the San Francisco province know that to give ourselves to the young we must cultivate vocations to the Salesian Family in our part of the world.
