Be free of a past or present criminal record.
Be free of any chemical dependency.
Be free of any prior bonds or legal dependents.
Be free of financial debt. These debts may be worked on during candidacy, but
application to the Novitiate stage of Salesian religious formation requires that all debts
be paid in full by the applicant.
Receive the recommendation of an assessing Salesian at the end of the
intensive interviews and the subsequent approval of an Admissions Board.
Legal Status and Citizenship.
Provide all paper work and records as requested.
Provide recommendation from a current Pastor.
Demonstrate an active faith life (experience in service and ministry is
helpful).
Have completed or be enrolled in a two year college program.
