BELLUOMINI SEMINARY SCHOLARSHIP'S
ENCOURAGING GROWTH

At the death of Giosuč Belluomini [4/15/82], his wife Germana wanted to remember him in a meaningful and lasting way. The Salesian Development Director, Fr. Larry Lorenzoni, SDB, suggested a perpetual "seminary scholarship." The annual earnings from this scholarship would help a young Salesian seminarian in need of financial help to complete his studies for the priesthood. As a priest, he would remember his benefactor in his Masses and prayers.

Germana loved the idea and began with a gift of $10,000.00 in memory of her family and her husband, Giosuč. That initial gift was augmented by regular contributions as well as yearly earnings automatically reinvested. It has now grown to $61,175.00! It will not be long before the Belluomini Seminary Scholarship reaches its $100,000.00 goal.

Once this goal is reached, the annual earnings will be awarded each year to a deserving Salesian seminarian in memory of Giosuč Belluomini, of Germana and of her family.

We encourage our readers to consider contributing to this or an original fund. Please include this cause in your will or add a codicil at the direction of your legal council. Any amount, regardless of size, is important to our seminarians.
