7th Province Assembly Days

The whole Salesian Western USA province gathered at El Retiro in Los Altos, California for their 7th Province Assembly Days (PAD VII). In this beautiful place, overlooking San Francisco Bay, we studied the theme “Celebrating community – hope for the young.” Early on, Fr. Bill Jarema of the Mercy Center in Colorado Springs helped us reflect on personal and community health and healing issues. We continued to process his input through the week in an atmosphere of prayer, celebration, brotherhood and camaraderie. Member evaluations showed that the PAD was well received. Fr. Tim encouraged us to keep its momentum rolling, since our community building is ultimately for the young!
