Diocese of Monterey
Watsonville is an agricultural center in the coastal Pajaro Valley. Salesians
began work here with a boys' elementary school. The seminary moved here from
Richmond in 1960. Later, the work went through phases as another elementary
school, then as a youth center featuring music, dramatic arts, and sports: the
famous Penny Club.
