Don Bosco Associates Luncheon

The Don Bosco Associates gathered for their Holiday Lunch on Thursday, November 15. 50 guests were at the Luncheon--this group has grown quickly from the first Holiday Lunch in December 2005 when we had 15 guests! In addition to the Don Bosco Associates, the Luncheon recognized donors who give through our Monthly Giving Club, donors who have remembered the Salesians in their estate plans, and long-term donors. The most vocal guests at the Luncheon were the numerous "Salesian Old Boys" who enjoyed catching up with old friends. More photos ...

All guests were given an opportunity to stand up during dessert and tell the other guests about a Salesian or Salesians who made a positive difference in their life. There were numerous wonderful stories told, and many knowing smiles were evident as Fr. David lead the group in their reminiscences.

As guests departed, they were given a gift from the Provincial. Each guest was enrolled in the Don Bosco Sacred Heart Association, and they were presented with a red "Christmas Greetings" folder to commemorate the gift.

The Development Department would like to thank all the Salesians who took time from their schedules to attend the Don Bosco Associates Luncheon. The next meeting of the group will be in the spring.
