This web site is a means of communication and animation for the Salesian Family of the Western USA. You are welcome to visit our cyber-home! Join the family of Westerners who love kids, and let them know it.
The Update Log lets you see the webmaster's workbench. You can see what was changed here and when, and you'll also see some problems that were (or were not) solved.

Design philosophy and goals for this site
We aim to keep a fast-loading, frequently updated website, accessible to folks with a variety of modern browsers and a phone modem connection. Implementation details:
- Front Page generated navigation bars.
- Small file sizes.
- Most pages have only one image.
- No bandwidth-intensive movie or audio clips.
- Standards-compliant document types and styles, as much as is possible with Front Page.
- Safari for Mac OS X
- Internet Explorer 6 for Windows
- Internet Explorer 5.1 for Mac OS 9
- Mozilla and Firefox for any platform
AOL is not supported; that is an area that needs work. Need AOL webmaster comments for this one.
Suggested resolution: 800x600 or higher.
